Hastelloy is a nickel-based alloy, but it is different from general pure nickel (Ni200) and Monel. It uses chromium and molybdenum as the main alloying element to improve the adaptability to various media and temperatures, and is suitable for different industries. Special optimizations have been made.

C276 (UNSN10276) alloy is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-iron-tungsten alloy, which is currently the most corrosion-resistant alloy. Alloy C276 has been used for many years in construction work associated with ASME standard vessels and pressure valves.

C276 alloy has good high temperature strength and moderate oxidation resistance. The high molybdenum content gives the alloy the characteristics of resisting local corrosion. The low warm content minimizes carbide precipitation in the alloy during welding. In order to maintain the resistance to inter-product corrosion of the thermally deteriorated part at the welded joint.

Hastelloy C276 Nickel Based Welding Wire
ERNiCrMo-4 Nickel Alloy welding wire C276 is used for welding materials of similar chemical composition as well as dissimilar materials of nickel base alloys, steels and stainless steels. This alloy can also be used for cladding steel with nickel-chrome-molybdenum weld metal. The higher molybdenum content provides great resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion.

Applications of Hastelloy C276 Welding Wires:
ERNiCrMo-4 nickel alloy welding wire is used for welding of steels with similar chemical composition, as well as dissimilar materials of nickel base alloys, steels and stainless steels.
Because of its high molybdenum content it offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, thus it is often used for cladding.
